How often does your company come out?
Most of our customers prefer service once a week. Other service schedules are available; if you would like to know more about service more or less often than once a week, please call us.
Do you work through the winter months?
Yes, we do. Dogs keep making their messes all year long, and our company continues to clean up and remove dog waste through winter. Some customers prefer to put service on hold for the cold months, although there may be an extra service charge for the first clean-up the following spring.
What happens when it snows or rains?
We'll work in most weather, but snow or very cold weather can stop us. If there is more than about half an inch of snow, we will postpone that day's service until the next day or two, when the snow melts away. If there is so much snow that we are prevented from doing that week's work, then we will not charge for service that week. If snow stays on the ground for more than a week, but there is no new snow to cover it, we will do regular cleanups to prevent excessive accumulation.
Our Company will usually work in the rain. A very heavy rainfall may stop us, though. We will most often be able to make up the work later that week.
We do not work the following holidays:
| New Years Day Memorial Day Independence Day |
Labor Day Thanksgiving Day Christmas Day |
If your scheduled day falls on a holiday, we will try and service your yard either the day before or after the holiday. The service will return to the regular day the following week.
Yes, we would recommend you do. Since our employees are not to climb or jump over fences, please have your gate unlocked on your service day. You may provide us with a key to the lock or tell us the combination if that will be convenient for you. If you like, you can purchase a combination lock from us.
If your gate is locked when we come to do the work, it may be necessary to charge for the service call that could not be completed. If, for instance, you get to work and remember that the gate is locked, call us early (before we are in route to your service area) to tell us to skip that day so that you won't be charged.
Can you work with our dog in the yard?
In most cases, yes we can. We get
along well with dogs; however, there are some cases when a dog will not let our
work into the yard. If you know that your dog is not good with strangers,
or it becomes apparent that your dog will not allow us to clean the yard, then
we ask that you restrain or confine the dog.
We don't want to take unnecessary risks
with your dog or our employees.
What if I want to skip a service day?
You will not be charged if you call the
company office in time for us to tell the service worker to skip your yard that
day. If the dog will be gone from the yard for a couple of weeks, or
for some other reason you want us to skip your yard for a day or more, we can
hold service and you will not be charged for those days.
There will also be no charge for
service missed due to weather or some other event beyond your
control.
HOWEVER, if your gate is locked or the dog will not allow
us to clean the yard when we come to do the work, it may be necessary to charge
for the service call that could not be completed. If, for instance,
you get to work and remember that the gate is locked, call us before we are in
route to your service area and let us know to skip that day so that you won't be
charged.
We will send you an invoice in the mail at
the beginning of each month, for that month's service. If you prefer another
payment method, please contact us.
There is a $3.50 late fee charge for accounts not paid by the
10th of the month following the service.
Are there any contracts I have to sign?
No -- We can start and stop your service over the phone. We do not require contracts, there is no minimum service period, and there is no advance notice required to cancel service other than before we are in route to the service area.
