Cocker Spaniel/Small Dog Rescue Central Florida - Most of our dogs come from local animal shelters where rescue organizations like ours are considered a "last resort." This means that we are called upon to rescue the dog after it has not been claimed or adopted, and is scheduled to be euthanized. Because the shelters are oftentimes very full, the amount of time a dog has before being euthanized ranges from 3 to 10 days.
