Breed Order: Dog rescue groups are in breed order from this point down. If you don't find the breed you are looking for, try contacting several of the rescue groups and animal shelters and ask them where you can find the breed you are looking for. Most likely, somebody will be able to help you. Some rescues will rescue other breeds other than what they specialize in. So tell them, what your looking for and see if they can find that breed through their network of connections. You may also try our Dog Breed Rescue page.

Cairn Terrier Club of Denver - is an affiliate of the Cairn Terrier Club of America. We place rescued Cairn Terriers of all ages primarily in the Rocky Mountain Front Range region of Colorado, New Mexico, and Wyoming. Chihuahua Rescue and Transport - Chihuahua Rescue and Transport (CRT) rescues Chihuahuas and Chihuahua mixes. Southwest Collie Rescue - We save abandoned, neglected, and abused purebred collies throughout ANew Mexico, Arizona and West Texas. We take in every desperate collie, from the young and neglected to the old and cast off.

Pueblo Collie/Sheltie Rescue - We are always seeking foster homes (esp. in Pueblo, Fremont and El Paso Counties). We also always need transport help and other volunteers.
