Birds - Avian Rescuers

Bird Adoption Groups - BirdAdoption.org - Bird Adoption - Adopt a parrot or another captive bird instead of contributing to the homeless bird problem by buying from a breeder. Educate yourself on proper bird care BEFORE adopting a bird. They make difficult, demanding 'pets' because they are wild animals!

Beaks & Noses - Beaks and Noses Is based in Billerica MA. We are not a shelter, but a rescue, which means all our birds and dogs are in a home environment. We are a small group of volunteers spread out across the country, ready to help any Toy Breed Dog -10 pounds or under, or parrot type birds.

Breed Order: Dog rescue groups are in breed order from this point down. If you don't find the breed you are looking for, try contacting several of the rescue groups and animal shelters and ask them where you can find the breed you are looking for. Most likely, somebody will be able to help you. Some rescues will rescue other breeds other than what they specialize in. SOS Dog Rescue - We are a 501c3 registered non-profit organization, located in NJ but serving the entire mid-Atlantic region (MA to VA). Here are some of the breeds we rescue: Bichon Frise, Coton de Tulear, Maltese, Westie, Yorkshire Terrier and other Toy Breeds.
